OUR POLICIES
MEDICAL EMERGENCIES
In the event of an emergency, you or your named emergency contact will be notified. If we cannot reach you or your contact, we will transport your pet to your designated clinic (if feasible). If the emergency is after-hours, your pet will be taken to one of the area's 24/7 facilities. Throughout the whole process, we will keep you informed and comply with your wishes. The cost of emergency care, and a $50 transport fee is the responsibility of the pet owner. NATURAL DISASTERS In August, 2016, we installed generators and are ready for anything Florida's weather can blow our way. You can rest assured that we will remain the staff will be on-site caring for your pet and calming them through the event. However, in the event that local, state or national authorities declare a mandatory evacuation, we ask that all owners or their emergency contacts pick up their pets immediately. Please be sure that your named emergency contact is aware of their responsibility in this matter. BOARDING Village Pet Spa, LLC reserves the right to relocate your dog at management discretion based on the needs of the kennel and it's occupants. We commit to make a concentrated effort to keep dogs in the same kennel throughout their stay. |
ANIMAL RESCUE
The Village Pet Spa is not a rescue group and cannot take in unwanted or abandoned animals. We strongly support the work of the Human Societies of Lake, Sumter and Marion Counties and encourage you to support these fine organizations through adoptions and donations.
